Ind -Aust Maritime (IAM) is a professional marine engineering solutions company headquartered in Navi Mumbai India.

We offer repair and maintenance solutions and supply of spares for YANMAR engines for ship owners and shipyards through our maintenance teams located at Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai and riding squads available for afloat repairs on a global basis.

Our team of engineers have the competency to carry out repairs on multiple brands of marine engines (MAN B&W, Wartsila, Daihatsu, Bergen, Cummins, MTU) and on the complete propulsion line (engine-gearbox-propulsion shaft- stern arrangement-propeller)

  • We are approved by IRS to carry out repair of propellers and blades including withdrawal, polishing and repair of FPP propellers.
  • Our experienced drydock teams carry out overhauls of Bow thrusters (BT) and Azimuth thrusters (AT)
  • IAM teams can carry out complete overhauls of turbochargers of widely used make / models - ABB, MET, Napier, IHI, MAN B&W. Maintenance scope includes ash blasting, bearing renewals, and dynamic balancing of shaft assembly.

We undertake removal, overhaul, testing and installation of all engine governors.

Repairs and maintenance of Starting air motors and also the supply of spares for TDI and Ingersoll-Rand makes.

Our teams have assisted shipyards like CSL, GRSE, and carried out independent ship refits, steel renewals, deck machinery repairs in Kochi, Kolkata, Sri Vijaya Puram (ex Port Blair) and Mumbai.
